In the past few years there has been a trend towards many of the trappings of the 1920’s. Craft cocktails, tailored clothing, the further acceptance of androgyny.
In the same vein of the Italian setting of "The Talented Mr. Ripley" or the parties of Jay Gatsby, Illyria looks delightful, wonderful, colorful and different on the surface, but has an underlying sense of melancholy to it. The whole setting is a mask for an inner pain.
